Senior Counselor (UK & Australia)

Executive Search at merojob, on behalf of its client, a leading Educational Consultancy is seeking a full-time, on-site Counselor (Australia & UK), based in Kathmandu. The Counselor will guide students through the Australian & UK education and migration process, providing accurate information, personalized support, and exceptional service throughout their journey.

Requirements

• Advise students on study options in Australia & UK, including courses, universities, tuition fees, and career pathways.
• Guide applicants through documentation, application, and visa procedures.
• Conduct one-on-one or online counseling sessions and recommend suitable overseas study plans.
• Build trust and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring confidentiality.
• Support marketing and promotional activities, and follow up to ensure client satisfaction.

Job Specification

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counselling, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in student counseling, preferably for Australia & UK.
• In-depth knowledge of the Australian & UK education system and visa process.
• Excellent command of English and Nepali (written and spoken).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in relevant software and digital tools.
